E60 M5 had a redline of ~8,250, this F10's redline seems to be around 7,500 which is really good for a turbocharged V8. There are hardly any turbocharged vehicles that have a redline over 7,000 while still being able to deliver a lot of midrange torque and have their turbo spool quickly, the only one which really goes above this limit is the new McLaren MP4-12c. An Evo's redline is 8,000 but it has a gigantic turbo and suffers from quite a lot of lag.

Let me guess, this will run about $85,000 in the US. I want one.

Well, they sound boring and they carry a laptop around, so they must be engineers.

Could you imagine complaining about the weather during cold testing? Thats how good your life is - worst days of the year sliding a pre-production M5 around in the snow. I'd take that as a bad day anytime.

Looks not to have full black panel display like the HUD display on rest of 5 series post-March built and GT at this point. That would be a disappointing miss!

I understand that they are professional drivers.........but my 300 hp 335i is useless in the snow, how in the hell are they driving like that in the snow in a 500+ hp rear wheel drive car?
