I prefer the 19" 345M wheels as well. I would take mine as Black Sapphire Metallic over red or cohiba brown Individual leather.

I'd love to own the new M5.

Best regards,

They look a lot like the OEM 18" wheels of the M3

The red leather is amazing, interior looks great and simple, not too overdone, BMW has classy interior.

Gas mileage is calculated differently in Europe. Their gallons aren't even the same size as ours.

Red is hot in a coupe. For the M5, it's too much red. IMO

played around with the configuration.. and silver stone ii doesn't for me.. I didn't like the 343M wheels until i matched it up with that color. It would be even easier to throw black wheels on afterwards.

No you aren't - I love them too.

I have scoured the internet high and low (though not in the past month - so it might be available now) for information about the wheel widths and offsets. I want to get a set for my M3 if they will fit. But no one seems to have the info.

Help me obi-south. You're my only hope.

Thank you so much E90Fleet.

Didn't even know you were still around here. I'd have just PM'd you and asked. I tried asking in other higher traffic forums but the question got moved to the proper forum with no traffic and so got few hits.

I see you still don't have a job with BMW - I hope they some day hire you. You deserve it.

It'll be 23.3 MPG based upon US Gallon. Wonder if they'll try to get it to 24.

^ That's because 20 is the new 19. But you're right, 20's do work for aesthetic purposes though i'd pick an 18 setup for the track.

Sorry, there was a typo, both 20" ones are ET34 ( not one 43)

Wow, the M5 in its home market costs the equivalent of $148K!? Why are car prices in Europe so much higher even for cars made there? Do people get paid a lot more for the same amount of work there?

You guys just got to face the fact that you get dirt cheap cars in the US.

And the price in Germany is cheap compared to other countires in Europe, Like Norway and Denmark.

Here in Norway, it will probably costs over $400000. Insane tax on high powered cars.

http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesand...calSpec&isPGA=

The UK Imperial MPG lists the F10 M5 at:
20.2 urban / 37.2 extra-urban / 28.5 combined

which works out to US MPG of:
17 city / 31 highway / 24 combined

Wow, that highway MPG is sheer bragging rights in itself!

It is possible BMW was able to squeeze more mileage out of this M5 engine since it is newer than the 550i V8.

With the government mandated improved CAFE ratings starting in 2011, BMW needed to improve the combined MPG rating of this new car.

My guess is they were only able to eek out a small improvement in city driving, whereas the big easy gains come from highway, so bam! Easy 24 combined MPG.
