BIMMERPOST NEWSChris Harris' Video Review of BMW F10 M5 EVO Magazine's Chris Harris' video review of the BMW F10 M5 has now been posted, following his initial print review. After his initial drive, Harris called the 2012 BMW M5 "mostly awe-inspiring" and said that there is no other powertrain like this in a series production car. He called the F10 M5's performance outrageous and gave it a full 5 star rating. In this video, Harris posts and addresses the following main questions: - Has it got any range (fuel)? - Has it got torque? - Can you not rev the tits off it and still go quite quickly? - Does its gearbox want to break your neck everytime you change gears quickly? - Can an M5 really be turbocharged? For a list of F10 M5 reviews see - http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=588616 Share this story |

...And the 1M. The 1M has been overwhelmingly positive for a car that was built off parts from other cars and despite all the naysayers that said it wasn't a "real" M car.

I don't think they're necessarily talking about price, it's more of how far you can go, not how much it costs to fill up. The E60 had a range about what? 480km or even less? that's pretty weak if you're looking to using it as a daily driver or just to drive at all. Last edited by 宝马.e90; 09-29-2011 at 01:06 PM. |

my dad leased an 06 M5 and wanted to buy it when the lease was up but just couldnt. He drives all over for work and literally could kill a tank everyday. And at the time he gave it up gas was peaking around 4 bucks a gallon so yea, MPG is important. Hell he might have been paying more in gas every month than his lease payment.. |

A bit selling point for me when getting my Panamera was that the 4s vs s had a 6 gallon larger tank. So im happy to hear that the tank is larger than a normal 5 series.
