Another high speed run in the F10 M5 - to 270 km/h.

Past videos have run to higher speeds (like this 300 km/h video and this 315 km/h video), but this is still fun to see.

We are so lucky here in the US that BMW is giving us a manual transmission also. It's going to be quite the collectors car!

The reason is because production M5's are limited to 260 from the factory. At least that is what one M engineer told me at the M5 press intro at the 'Ring. You can go to a //M driving school and have a BMW Zentrum(dealer) up the limiter to (a real, not what the speedo reads! but a real..) 280 kph V-max.

For the M5, the Drivers Pack raises top speed to 305 kph.

Limiters suck. If you are on a test track it should let you push that sexy beast to the limit.
