I like the E28 and the F10 best visually. The vid has too much music and too little engine sound.

The UK BMWCAR mag had a great feature in the January 2012 issue, 5 gens of M5, with 2 pages dedicated to each model and nice pics. They borrowed 2 of the cars from 4StarClassics, check this out for some classics to make you whimper:

1. That was a really bad attempted for a tribute video of the times. Too man damn cuts and jerks and what sounds to be freaking dubstep for music.

2. 1998 takes the cake. I say it's the best M5 they have ever made. 2004 takes the best engine ever made by BMW and 2011 take the fast M5 ever made.

Speaking of 5 gens of M5, are there any NJ Chapter CCA M5 owners on here? I was thinking of a photo op of M5s after the March 24 meeting at BMWNA.

I like the subject matter, but the execution is too jerky and chaotic. Overall, it was rubbish!
