2015 M5 with M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel and Carbon Interior added!

Hey all,

Posted last week about the Black Comp Pack M5 I picked up a few weeks ago, and I finally got the parts I had on order installed.

The pictures absolutely do not do these parts justice, as they are just incredible in person.

M Performance Electronic Steering Wheel II
and
M Performance Carbon Fiber Interior Trim

So here are some shitty iphone pictures!

Very nice. The carbon kit looks great! What kinds of things does the steering wheel tell you?

Not fully sure about everything it does yet, as the manual it comes with is pretty dense.

But a few things it does do besides the shift indicating;
0-60 time
1/4 mile time
lap timer
a few efficient dynamics features
g-force
and more I am unaware of

Nice, congrats! The electric performance wheel on my E92 M was the first thing every passenger noticed / complimented

Awesome, I love it! Seems like not enough people have these things installed...but then again I guess not everyone can like the same things.

I love that steering wheel, looks meaty as hell.

From memory, that display should give you 0-60, 0-100, quarter mile time and speed, as well as 60 foot, 330 foot, and eighth mile ET and speed.

Should also give you consumption, elapsed time of trip, oil temp, water temp, and a lap timer.

Nice stuff there.

I also noticed that you have some interior ambient lighting in your car. I'm guessing this is an aftermarket modification....

Oh yeah I forgot that there are two versions of the M Performance steering wheel (the other one with the Blue Line Strip in the top center portion)

Either way, both versions only come in Alcantara.......so if someone lives in a place that is really cold, well this may not be an option for them as heated steering only comes with leather-wrapped steering wheels.....

No ambient lighting mods done at all, just the steering wheel and carbon trim.

That video of the Rev lights looks great!!
Congrats

Nice trim too!

Does the steering wheel only show when you rev or does it give optimum time to shift too?

Looks great.

Love the Boston team logos but the lack of snow (and the color of your shorts) clearly makes it not possible to be in Boston.

I think he took the photos in front of this, in Santa Monica:
