Canada Bound F10 M5 Spotted! US Ordering/Pricing Info Coming in 2 Weeks

As seen here, the first batch of 2012 BMW M5 models for the North American market (Canada) have completed production and are now loaded on carriers to begin their journey to owners in Canada!

Canada gets the F10 M5 before the US, with limited allocations of 2012 model year M5s available. The full Canadian 2012 M5 price list (full list) was released recently, with the starting base price set at $101,500 CAD.

The US will not receive the 2012 model year M5 and production of the 2013 M5 for the US market will begin in July (for September delivery. US F10 M5 pricing, ordering, and brochures will be released in 2 weeks - concurrently with the 2012 NY International Autoshow. European Delivery for the M5 is expected to be available beginning in August.

The Silverstone II F10 M5 pictured below was spotted at a gas station on the A27 highway in Germany. It's supposedly headed to Bavaria BMW in Edmonton and should be in the hands of its owner by next month. Any of our Canadian members with an M5 order submitted expecting a Silverstone II M5?

Interestingly. BMW had one of these at Calgary Auto Show last week. Looked real sharp in Frozen Silver. Too bad it was all locked up and show goers weren't able to get some seat time!

No official US pricing has yet been announced by BMW NA. You won't have to wait long though - it will come in 2 weeks at start of the NY auto show.

The factory did not even wrap M5 ... holy !!.

Even Audi is putting a big wrap on their cars (almost entire car) during shipping.

I got into it no problem. Then again I called BMW Canada, arranged some contacts, showed up a the show right at opening, and knew the salesman on the floor.

Other than that it was easy...
