BIMMERPOST NEWSIgnition - 2013 BMW M5 F10: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago finds out what happens when you strap a pair of turbos to an M car. Does this latest M5 live up to the legend of the naturally aspirated M5s of yore? Another lengthy and positive review
especially when reviewed by Ben Affleck. But I'm not quite buying the "had to put 4.4 liter engine due to environmental regulations" because there are other German cars produced with bigger engine capacities. |

Enjoyed that one. More positive words like we come to expect.
I like these Ignition episodes so far. Not just straight up technical review (has that too) but also a nice everyday/everyman perspective too. |

Sheep's clothing? It's just a plain wolf if you ask me. It'll take a sizable bite out of any competition I say.

Yeah true it was easier to base this engine off the S63 but ten again it does get 26 mpg!! M5 is pulling impressive numbers holy mother...

nice review..and no doubt the car is an engineering masterpiece...but what I dont like is it looks so much like a normal 5 series from the front??? atleast a speed bump would do for me...

Excellent review, really enjoyed watching it! It is just such a technological masterpiece...
Yea tell me about it, I just saw one in full black mode (wheels, kidneys, etc ...) and it is REALLY hard to tell apart from the front. I could spot the E60 M5 from miles away, or by even only seeing 2 square inches from behind a truck or something ... Now I go "Is that an M5, is it an M5, omg is that an M5, ........... And yes it was! (tailpipes)" E60 was more aggressive, F10 is nearing perfect beauty. |
