No! The E60 belongs to a friend. He visited today, so nice opportunity for the two last generations to meet.

Both look great. Is it just because of the shape of the cars or do the two silverstone look a little different like bluer on the f10.

Did your friend drive your car? His reaction?

Like BMW intended the M5 continues to look good (e60) and the next generation is just as special if not a tad more.

He loved the gerabox, but missed the V10 sound. He was impressed by the torque too, ofcourse.

congrats.
What a comparison between the two. The latter is heavier by +100 lbs, yet it is faster, and has a better torque ration at lower RPM.

true, and e60 is the worst design...
it looks like f10 is actually the evolution of e39... e60 just jumped out from somewhere else...

The M5 E39 is a true classic BMW M car.

It looks very nice in Silverstone. My was carbon black.
I think the E39 M5 and F10 M5 has more in common than the F10 M5 and E60 M5. The overall feeling, power, torque etc. feels more smooth in E39/F10.

I just love how the E60 doesn't look dated at all. Completely different cars.
