BMW releases a new commercial focusing on the mantra for some of the latest current M models (F10 M5, 1M Coupe) and certainly for future models - high performance with efficient dynamics. Being able to have one's cake and eat it too.

Their official message:

Based on the commercials and reviews the F10 M5 looks like it handles astonishingly well considering how big it is... Wow, I really can't want wait for this thing to hit state side. Sweet commercial

I wish they'd stop speeding the videos and do just amazing real time power slides or aggressive cornering shots.

When the 1M stops and you hear a rev, I'm pretty sure thats the sound of the M3 with the M performance exhaust. lol How deceiving.

That really bugs the hell out of me that they keep showing the M3 GTS in the US commercials. I don't know why but it does.

Its better than the feature based ads, but i have still seen better from BMW.

Who cares. It's being used as a halo car in the commercial. Just like how they've used the i8 in commercials. That's not available anywhere

On BMWUSA the M5 has no gas guzzler tax, but the M3 does have a $1300 gas guzzler tax.
