Photo's-US Spec Alpine White F10 M5's w/ M Carbon Ceramic Brakes

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Caught these two beautiful US Spec Alpine White F10 M5's with the now delayed M Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

The ONLY pic's I've seen of the F10 M5 fitted with the Carbon Ceramic Brakes.Don't know who is driving the cars or why they show up in the States fitted w/ the Carbon Ceramic Brakes. They are not Performance Center Fleet cars.....they don't show until months after the national model launch is well underway. Thanks. PalBay

Am I the only one that thinks ceramic breaks are a little silly unless you're using it exclusively as a track car?

I'm sorry but the new calipers and carbon ceramic rotors look ugly in my book. To each is their own though.

FYI.....Substitute F10 M5 w/ M Carbon Ceramic Brakes for F13 M6 and you get the picture..Sorry if you don't like the copyright.I shoot and post and sell 1,000's of auto pic's a yr. Some I'm paid for. The copyright is the only legal way to protect photos's online. These F13 M6 pic's are exclusive....no others exist. You would be surprised at the creeps/publications that crop the bottom right watermark and post as their own. Hate it for you guys...but an absolute requirement/necessity in today's online world. Thanks. PalBay

Same typical BMW BS with brakes!
Look at those rear brakes, I mean, come on BMW your still the only ones using sliding calliper brakes on your M's. AMG are using fixed piston callipers on all their AMG's. Also, this is for an M5 with the ceramic option, which I'm guessing won't come cheap!
The way the car is now, it look like they slapped good brakes up front and then wanted to go play some golf and forgot about the rears. it looks like a half-A** brake job.
I know the sliding callipers won't make a big difference, they stop just as well on the streets, and I know those ceramics will still tear your face off under hard braking, and I know very few M5 owners will track this car, but still, some 4 piston callipers would have been nice to see on the rears!!!
Let's face it, the brakes on these types of cars should be like jewellery on a beautiful women!!!
Just look at the brakes on an SLS or a GT2 or even a Cayenne, that's how it should be donne BMW!!!!

Nice pics, would have loved to see the interior in the sunlight. Shakir tends to look different in every pic I see.

I was there earlier in the week and these are all the cars for the M School. They all have the Carbon brakes with a mix of DCT & 6 speeds. There are 15 in total They are getting ready to host a press event and are trying to get the break in miles completed. The did not take me up on my offer to assist.

This is my favorite...Sakhir Orange/Black - awesome in person.

The exhaust sound is amazing. That wait is going to be tough.
