Are lease residual values calculated based on % of MRM OR % of US MSRP?

Residuals are based on US MSRP.

Where did the residual values and MF rates actually come from? There has been a lot of back and forth on the boards on the announced rates but I have not seen anything from BMW directly...are we certain the 48% 36 month number is "official"? Is there a chance that BMW changes or improves these numbers??

Just heard new residuals and rates came out. No changes for the M5

On the canadian website the residuals on a 2012 just fell to 40% for 36 mos and 24Kms (15K miles).

Getting nutty.

Yeah 2012s are at end of cycle. Numbers will be tough with 2013s coming out.

Since the car is not kept in inventory, no need to subsidize to move of lot.

2013 M5 finally on the Cdn website. Residual is 45% for a 15K miles (24k kms) per year.
