Not only was it the 40th AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix Nürburgring but it was also ///M's 40th Birthday! To celebrate BMW brought some mighty tasty ///M cars to this classic car race weekend. I am glad I could attend.

The classic racers used the new Grand Prix circuit - while the old Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit - was open to anyone who wanted to drive their car on the old famous race track. (touristenfahrten 26 euros per 22km lap.) This gave the event a very "grass roots" feel.

There were lots of amazing cars on both tracks. I'll try to show you some of the really cool cars I saw this weekend. Sit back and prepare to "scroll"!

W O W this is an amazing collection of cars... I have NEVER seen so many M1's in one location like this astounding!

That black Lamborghini has the most unique "Italy" colors as a ring around black rims... neat take on the style of having a ring of color around the dark rims

To celebrate BMW brought some mighty tasty ///M cars to this classic car race weekend. I am glad I could attend. The classic racers used the new Grand Prix circuit - while the old Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit - was open to anyone who wanted to drive their car on the old famous race track. (touristenfahrten 26 euros per 22km lap.) This gave the event a very "grass roots" feel. There were lots of amazing cars on both tracks.
