We have been attending BMW's track press launch of the 2013 M5 sedan, 2013 M6 coupe, 2013 7 Series LCI (facelift), and Alpina B7 being held at the Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, CA.

We'll be sharing our thoughts soon on some of these cars, but in the meantime, enjoy some photos of the F10 M5 from Laguna Seca. We focused on the Sakhir Orange M5 as it's a new color as of the 2013 model year.

Just curious why do the cars have New Jersey tags? Is that where they were registered temporarily?

Great pics Jason!!! My excitement is building, my M5 is on vessel Dover Highway and is scheduled at Brunswick August 29th. Looking at delivery somewhere around Sept 10th!!!

It's where BMW NA is headquartered.

Beautiful pictures! Makes me reconsider my decision to get Sapphire Black instead of Sakhir Orange or Monte Carlo Blue!

I think its the headlights guys, the M6 is sporting those awesome LED headlamps whereas the M5 has the regular (dated) HID's. Do 5er customers have to wait for LCI to get LED headlights? Ridiculous if they do...
