For those F10 M5 ED'ers who are shipping back to the West Coast this month (Sept)

I found out that my M5 will be on the FIDELIO scheduled to be loaded up on the 22nd of Sept and will be at Port Hueneme on the 17th of October.

So if you are getting your M5 shipped back to the West Coast in September, you'll probably be on this ship. They don't have ships leave for the West Coast as frequently I think, hence the reason why my M5 has been waiting since the 7th.

Thanks for the info Dave. My fingers are crossed that I make that ship...but it is highly unlikely as I just dropped my car off on 9/17. Checking with the drop off location to see if it has departed for Bremerhaven. If not, it means an early October departure and early November delivery. Barry, I took a look at the Wallenius Wilhelmsen schedule for the West coast and here are the ships:

Fidelio: Depart 9/24/12 Arrive 10/18/12 (24 day transit)
Figaro: Depart 10/6/12 Arrive 10/31/12 (25 day transit)
Topeka: Depart 10/20/12 Arrive 11/14/12 (25 day transit)
Electra: Depart 11/3/12 Arrive 11/28/12 (25 day transit)

FYI, I see no K-line vessels headed for the West coast...

I'm on (in?) the same boat. I was hoping for a bit faster delivery, but this is within the promised time frame.

Dealer said, to be super conservative, I should expect up to 10 day delay between 10/17 arrival of boat and delivery at dealer (Santa Barbara). I suspect it will be closer to 5 days, but I guess customs delays can be a wild card.

I just found out that my car is on Cephus Leader of NYK docking on 10/24 in port hueme.

Looks like I won't get mine back until first week of November.

Cepheus Leader is now just outside Portugal going to Port Bremehaven.

I am on the Fidelio as well. Leaves port on 9/24 and arrives 10/17 Probably be to me a week after that. Seems forever.

For anybody on the FIDELIO, have you been able to get confirmation that the M5's have been put on the ship yet? I am not able to get any to show up on the WW website for tracking. The cars were supposed to be loaded Saturday and the ship is supposed to leave port today. :/

I looked up the Fidelio and it's spinning in the north sea. ETA is 9/26 to Bremerhaven. Looks like its moving again towards port. Few days late.

I just checked got an email from LOGINOUT and I checked the W&W Website again. My M5 is on BOAT! Woohoo! The FIDELIO is running behind schedule and is now supposed to be in Port Hueneme on Oct 20th instead of the 17th. 3 days isn't so bad I guess. Gives BMW 3 extra days to get the new oil pump to my dealer anyways! LOL!

So yeah, check your VIN's now on the W&W Website. The FIDELIO is supposed to leave Bremmerhaven tomorrow. Yay!

RPI what day di you drop off your car at LOGINOUT?
I cant get anythign back from them and think I may have missed the boat. I was hoping to get on the Don Juan today.

FIDELIO is definitely gone. Doing 18kn! I think the port is running a little behind, as the CEPHEUS LEADER was scheduled to sail 9/27 but is not in port yet, and, it looks like the other spots at the dock are full.

My bad Barry, BLG Logistics...that is who picked up my car in Nice. Probably does not apply to you as your car is going direct from the factory to port, most likely via train I would think.
