155 Limit Bypass

Has anyone on the board figured out how to bypass the speed limiter on the F10 yet?

You will need an ECU tune. Don't think that any American customer has a tune yet. I could be wrong.

I have a video i will post when i have a second (just got back to Atl last night) of me going 266 kilometers per hour, isnt that right at 160? i was only at that speed for a second chasing a GT3RS back into Munich. Just wondering if the thing is actually limited or was i at the 155mph limit on the nose. Thanks.

Check with Dinan or GIAC

If the RS was balls out it would have been a short chase

Dinan has removed the limiter for the F10 550 and when they release their tune for M5 it will be able to reach it's unlimited top speed too.

I don't think this car has speed limiter. While in Germany, I was able to hit 164mph but let off the throttle since I didn't want to push my car too hard during the break in period.

You were almost there. A few of us hit the limiter in the upper 160s.

The car has a very annoying speed limiter at 267 - 268 km/h...

remember to account for the BMW MPH to actual MPH ratio.

If you are asking how to remove the limiter while in Germany PM me.

Yep, the speedo is optimistic. Bring a Garmin if you want to know how fast you are really going

It looks like you can code the speedo to report actual unadjusted speed

I've been on the 'other' coding forum as of a few weeks ago and it hasn't been accomplished yet.

Tried - the single Korrektur valve that is available on the M5 had not effect. Second Korrektur value doesn't exist/hasn't been found..

If you have accomplished it, there are lots of people waiting with baited breathe (including myself).
