Picked her up (!)

Well, finally the long wait was over.

On Friday, October 19th, I picked up my 2013 M5 at Der Welt in Munich;
The configuration of the car is:

Azurite Black
Sakhir Orange w/Alu trim;
Convenience & Executive Package;
20' Wheels

The car is great - as many of you know - although i have (tried) to keep it under 4100 RPM and <110Mph as recommended by the SA.

Pics below - many more will follow when it lands in the States.

What time was your delivery? Mine was at 5:40 and there was an M5 that looked a lot like yours behind mine. When that M5 was started up my wife looked at me and said "wow!, what is that?" lol.

Edit...I was just going back and looking at some of my pictures, and that was you! Gorgeous car and congratulations. Here's a picture I took from the stairs as we were walking down. You can see your M5. My car was the one closest to the stairs as you come off.

Haha - that is great!
Thanks for sharing - what is your car & config?

It was a LONG wait - in fact, my original time was at 5.50 (after you) but we managed to make it at 5 instead.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did - i invited my dad whom really enjoy it.
(the green M3 looks, hum, screaming, to say the least).

I got an Imperial Blue 550 M Sport. We had arrived at the welt around 11 and completed our paperwork early. Then we did the plant tour, lunch, museum, and then delivery.

We really had a blast. On Saturday we put about 400 miles on the car as we drove south to Italy and then made a loop back to Munich airport.

Have you found out what ship you will be on? I just checked my VIN on the W&W website and I'm on the Don Juan set to depart 10/31 and arrive in Brunswick, GA on 11/19.

A quick question how do they attach the front plate ED, sticky tape or screws?

Thanks!

I am now 100% convinced to do ED in 2015 for my next BMW!!! In Alberta we don't need front plates and who wants holes!!!
