Any Benefit in trying to put a 305 on the rear?
Just curious, I know it is a stretch to run a 305 on a 10" rim, but isn't unheard of...
(I hope to just spur some friendly discussion) |

The Michelin PSS are not available in this size so you'd have to go with Pirelli Pzeros.

I like the 305 rear as well. Looks so tough.

With the 11's, are you going to have someone flare the fenders? While it is unfortunate the PSS isn't available in a 305 (unfortunate if you ask me), they do have a 315 that should fit an 11... |

315 might take it a little bit too far ![]()

Hardly overkill. If there is one real weakness in the M5, it is that it scrambles for traction with that much power going to only the rear wheels. 305, 315, even 325, if they can fit, would be a welcome change IMO.

Before sourcing out for even wider tire, I would research & source out who has the stickiest car in the current market for the stock 295. You can go 325 all you want but if you can only find one tire manuf that makes an average tire that is somewhat sticky, you are still in the same position as before, which is all those power smoking the asphalt.

Since the PSS isn't available in a 305 for 20 inchers, I may opt for 21s; they have a 305/25/21.

Shove a 12 in the rear and go with Michelin PSS in 335/30
Does anyone think it would be possible to go that wide in the rear. I doubt it but was just hoping with the corret offsets. When I pick up my M5 F10 this Spring I was leanings towards 11 rear also but the limited tire options in 305/30 or 315/30 is frustrating. I really love the Michelin PSS. I heard a guy on another forum was considering 315/30 Toyo Proxes on a 11 rear. |
