M5 in the US without a moonroof? - M5POST

Has anyone figured out how to order an M5 without a moonroof? I really don't want it in my car and I could use the extra headroom. I've seen a few pictures of European M5s without the moonroof so I know they are produced.

Not sure if BMW will let you order a US spec M5 without one. However iND has a carbon fiber roof panel you can replace the stock roof with. See the thread "The F10 M5, by iND" on the main page.

I saw the carbon fiber panel but didn't see how they handled the molded headliner. If I could order it factory, it would clean and hassle-free. Anyone try to order it this way?
