Does anyone know what this is?

I just bought this car. I have not personally seen it since the dealer is far away from my home town of Miami..

I was looking through the pictures and I saw this ugly yellow square box.. is this some sort of option? ANyone know what this is?

Its freaking me out and I cant sleep now.. Need to ask them what this is.

Looks like one of those "equality" bumper stickers.

http://action.hrc.org/site/Survey?ACTION_REQUIRED=URI_ACTION_USER_REQUESTS&SU RVEY_ID=4360

Has something to do with human rights.... Why the heck it would be on your bumper I would have no clue? Is it covering up something?

Primetime,

In So Cal they are all over the place... Mostly on Prius and Fiat 500s... You know the people that tend to drive those cars... I am quite shocked to see it on an M5. Hopefully someone was just screwing around when they snapped the picture.

I have one on my M5. And on my partner's Cayenne Turbo S. Still shocked?

There are plenty of gay car enthusiasts out there. I don't usually wear my sexuality on my sleeve. It's really nobody's business but my own. (And that sticker doesn't necessarily mean the driver is gay.) But I decided to put one on each of our cars simply because of the attention the cars attract in public. It's a subtle reminder (to those who know the symbolism) that not everybody in this country is treated equally...

Shocking. And I suspect there may be some left-handed and red-headed car enthusiasts lurking out there as well . . .

Maybe the dealer put it on knowing the car was going to South Beach

Did you buy this car from Sam Swope in Louisville, KY? I personally evaluated this car several weeks ago and it did not have this sticker on it.

Meant no offense... just shocked anyone would put a bumper sticker on an M5... You don't normally see bumper stickers on 100k cars. Usually you leave the honor student stickers and sorts to the mini vans.

This whole exchange is quite amusing. I won't give opinion of life preferences cause it's none of my business, but if you put a bumper sticker, no matter what kind of sticker on a M5...You are undoubtedly an asshole.

Primetime - now that you have finally got your M5, you may want to join our Miami M Club. Would be good to see you at our next meet. You've already met Steve.

Aren't you contradicting your own statement by actually commenting on his preference of having a bumper sticker on his car...

I am a southpaw. I think I qualify as a car enthusiast and my M5 is being built right now.

I do not consider bumper stickers "life preferences" I consider them to be pathetic attempts of attracting attention. That being said I don't see contradiction

Bumper stickers (which I definitely DON'T do myself ) could either be to attract attention or to make a statement (like "Support our Troops" etc).

After all, the ///M5 badge is nothing more than a glorified bumper sticker either. And definitely there to attract attention...

Anyway, my comments where "tongue in cheek". I got that there is a difference between what you meant by life preferences and bumper sticker statements. It was just too tempting to make a comment

I hear ya. I guess I was thinking of the weirdo people you see out there with their stupid stickers that are just meaningless and scream for attention. But, support your troops stickers I fully agree with and support...But also they don't belong on a M5, a 911 etc...And I have never seen one so I'm happy about that.
