retrofitted into my M5 last night .... (I may swap the CF steering wheel trim back to the OEM trim piece , not decided yet)
Very distinctive addition, nice! With the carbon already on the dash, keeping the steering wheel trim seems like a natural to me.

Guys, if a kick ass steering wheel is what u are after, there is a better option right from within the family. It's a plug-and-play zero code throwing replacement.

Is this your car?

The other guys who did the M6 wheel said that it requires several additional parts including a special harness which isn't in the parts catalog. Plus coding. Definitely not a plug and play replacement. Did you find otherwise?

Yes, it's mine. I initially ordered the entire wheel with all required parts from the parts computer for cars equipped with lane departure warning, but later found out that 1 piece was missing from the parts list. Yes, even the computer does not have the full list. Ordered that part only after seeing it on an M6 with the same lane departure warning option. With that part, there is absolutely no coding required. Plug and play and the swap took less than 10 mins and zero error code. Everything worked. I don't know if the airbag would deploy, but i hope never to find out

just to be clear, no coding required from my point of view, only harness which I'm going to see my dealer about tomorrow., will let you know. not sure that Singapore will use the same airbag as US so please check this.
