Whoa that's a lot of pictures!
With that said, I didn't see not one mod that I liked, except for the usual blacked out side and front grills. I think all of the aftermarket wheel styles I saw did not compliment any of the F10 body lines well. This makes me think that people change wheels just to have a different look, not exactly one that is better. It's funny how the stock 20" wheels look like something an aftermarket designer would design, yet we still have clowns that want to put 22" wheels on the F10 M5 and slam it to the ground. As far as exhausts go, I know I am biased, but none of these systems make appreciable power gains. What is Akropovic, like 10hp? Race Precision Inc makes a guaranteed 20-30hp over stock. I'll let everyone know how it performs and sounds once I get my GT system installed hopefully this weekend or next week. As for other mods like, diffusers, splitters, trunk spoilers, roof spoilers, side view mirror spoilers, carbon fiber hood with racing vents, lamborghini doors, tv's in the trunk, tv's in the wheel wells, carbon fiber engine covers, carbon fiber seat belts, racing seats, carbon fiber intakes, matte black wrap windshields, carbon fiber roof with moonroof delete, etc etc. I have have no taste for any of this crap. The only mods that I like are ones that produce solid proven performance or subtle changes to the looks. Here's my list of mods coming in the near and far future: Matte Black Front Grills Matte Black Side Grills with darkened turn signal indicators RPi GT Exhaust: +20-30 horsepower and about 7-10 lbs less than stock system RPi Air Scoops: Still in development ESS or Switzer ECU tune: Still in development +1,000hp RPi GT Downpipes: Still in development +1,000hp Racing Brake Fluid Tinted Windows Clear Bra Programmed Folding Mirrors and Raising Windows with remote key LCI Tail Lights (When LCI comes out) Eibach Lowering Springs: Still in development Stock 20" Wheels Stock Trunk Spoiler Stock Roof Spoiler (Whoops I forgot the F10 M5 doesn't come with one) Stock Hood Stock Trunk Stock Brakes Stock Rear View Mirror Stock Shift Knob Stock Paint Color Stock Michelin PSS's Stock Diffuser Stock Splitter Stock Moonroof Stock Steering Wheel Stock Front Seats and Back Seats My modding goal is to have a pretty stock and subtle looking M5 that can destroy a stock or even lightly modded Nissan GTR. Well at least in the straightline. In the turns the M5 can never be the car that the GTR is. I think the mods he's done and the wheels he's chosen fit the body lines of the F10 M5 very very very well. His M5 is the only one that I actually like with aftermarket wheels, diffuser, and splitter. If I were to ever put aftermarket wheels on my M5, I'd go with Vorsteiner hands down!

What kind of taillights are on that first black one. They look like white line with a tint on them? Anyone know?

You're correct. White lines w/tint.

![]() as u said, ppl put rims n aero kits 2 set themselves apart. i mean who doesn't? look, i really like the whole idea of a sleeper n all, but imo a stock m5 is a sleeper. only a tru car guy can spot the difference. shiet, an average person thinks that an m-sport is an m5. haha now don't take offense, but u kinda contradicted urself by sayin u don't like big wheels, lips n diffs however u only like the 1 u posted. all good tho man, no need 2 explain urself, i understand where u're comin from. btw i like oe 19s waaay more than oe 20s. was hopin u'd notice... look fwd 2 ur photoshoot |

I personally prefer the stock 20" OEMs - haven't found a better wheel which "fits" the M5's build and lines more perfectly.

I know Vorstieners are beautiful. The wheels on Turbotronic's car are actually 21", which I think is too big.
The Vorsteiner wheels below are what I think would be probably some of the best looking aftermarket wheels that you could put on the F10 M5 just for looks. I have no idea how much they weigh. I personally prefer monoblock wheels, as I feel 3 piece wheels lack the performance look and go for a more flashy look. Although one advantage of 3 Piece wheels is that you can usually get them wider than monoblock allowing you to put more rubber of the rear wheels which is good for traction. Either of these wheel styles in a 20" size would compliment the F10 chassis very well I think. Neither of them are flashy. I especially like the VSE-001 5 spoke Vorsteiner design and if I had money to flush down the toilet I'd probably get these. ![]()

Actually I mentioned stock steering wheel, but you are right I forgot to include stock airbags. I also remembered that I will also have stock seat belts.

Here's an F10 M5 with some very old designed Hartge Wheels on it. They look to be 21". I have to say that they look much better on the F10 M5 than they did on the E60 M5. I would never put them on the M5, they are very heavy wheels and wiegh like a million pounds. I pity the fool who puts wheels on their M5 without considering the weight difference.
Also I don't know what kind of exhaust the M5 has in the video but it sounds so damn good. It might be a Hartge exhaust, but I am not aware of them having designed a new system for the F10 M5. I also wonder if this M5 has catless downpipes as well. It's very loud. I'm hoping to have a setup that sounds similar.
