BMW M5 Tuned by Hartge to 642 HP
66
COMMENTS

Germany based Hartge has released the figures on its ECU software tune for the M5 and M6 good for 642hp and 810 Nm (597 lb-ft), representing an increase of +82 hp and +130 Nm (96 lb-ft) over the factory figures.

Hartge quotes a new 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 190mph (305kmh).

This is achieved with the ECU tune as well as a stainless steel exhaust system.

The Hartge F10 M5 below also showcases Hartge lowering springs which lowers the M5 by 25mm front / 20mm rear, as well as the Hartge front lip (still unpainted in some photos) and carbon fiber mirror covers.

I must be old. I've seen nothing that appeals to my personal taste. Not to be disrespectful, but slammed with big wheels and "rubber bands" around them has absolutely no appeal to me. The whole "City/So FLA" thing just does nothing for me. I'm happy that for once I don't have the urge after seeing this stuff to do any of it, which is different from my other money pit, my Harley Davidson. I suspect a demographic difference might be the reason...

I agree with you. BMW did a great job designing this car and I rarely see a mod that trips my trigger. I like a tint, and covet the whole package of Akra exhaust, but I like the 20' wheels on my 2013 better than most after markets that I've seen.

Thanks Jay those were my Rotiform Sna 20x9, 20x10.5. I had them made for my 08 550 and put them on here when I bought this car. But I soon sold them to another forum member because the offset was wrong for the new series.
