Individual leather

I am sorry if this question has been asked before, I tried searching.

Is there a difference between Merino leather and Individual Merino leather?

Is it called individual leather just because of the color choices or is there a quality difference?

Thanks in advance.

Just color choices. However, Individual Full leather has LESS leather coverage than non-Individual Full. I think it's the dash and upper door trim that miss out on leather on Individual Full. You can request coverage of those areas in leather if you want to go through the full Individual process rather than just selecting an Individual color, but it will likely cost quite a bit more.

EDIT: See this attachment detailing exactly what gets covered in what material: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/attachm...4&d=1328734101

Full individual leather costs $6825
Extended (better than partial but not full) individual costs $5000
Full merino costs $3500
Extended (partial with lots of plastic) merino is free

I would recommend full merino or full individual. Others are not good IMO.

Thanks guys. So it's just a color difference and not a quality difference. I was thinking about going with either graphite individual or black. Might as well go with black full merino and save $3300 vs graphite full individual.

Yes that is sensible. The Graphite is like a light black as opposed to proper black. The difference is not worth it for $3300.
