1st service maintenance. - M5POST

Hi guys,
This past Friday had to take the car to the dealer as I hit a nail on the road that damaged the tire and the wheel ( f....ing unbelievable ) with only 980 miles on it. Thank god had the wheel and the protection. Anyways, my SA told me that he will check to see if he can do the 1st service maintenance on my car. But I was under the impression you have to wait to 1200 miles. Can it be done before 1200? I'm at 980 miles. If it's done will the car be ok?

i had it done at 800 miles.. i know some people done it at 650miles.

I had mine done today at 1,050. The SA said the car takes 10W60, so I told him the owners manual says to use 5W30. He was wrong.
