Sirius channels in M5 - M5POST

My first drive to work in my M5 this morning and I try to put the radio on SAT ch 100 to listen to Howard Stern and it didn't even have that channel as an option!! It skipped to ch 107. Is there a way to adjust this? I have never seen this on any other BMW with Sirius. Frustrating.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Just some kind of issue with your Sirius subscription..call them. Ch. 100 works fine for me.

It's Sirius, not your car... known issue with them and BMWs. Car only displays what Sirius thinks you are paying for. Call them on phone (not BTed into car), and be in a position to have the car powered off (meaning dont call them from in the car while driving). They can then send a reprogram signal.

I found this all out when my wife identified that channel 14 (just some pop station) is available on their web and phone app, but not our car... Called and they enabled some additional channels but not all... evidently some just can be streamed the car. You should be able to get Stern though...

there's a sirius website where you sign up for your free year subscription and enter your VIN. Bro.

incidentally, why would you listen to howard stern anyway after paying $3K for your B & O? pump up the milli vanilli.

Great post, I thought their selection was just super poor. I called up, and they wanted me to go to Channel 0 to give them my radio ID. Channel 0 doesn't exist. Luckily a google search told me how to go to Manage subscriptions and get the ESN number. They did some type of refresh/update, and now I have a ton more channels. Wouldnt have known without this post. Thanks guys!

Can you explain how you found the ESN? I tried to activate using VIN and it said VIN not found.

This gives you instructions on how to retrieve the ESN and phone number to call
(under Sirius options choose Manage subscriptions and it will display your ESN)
