Paddle shifter lights
Wondering if someone can answer this question for me. Do the "+" and "-" on the paddle shifters light up in your car when the headlamps are on? I could have sworn they did in Europe, but now it seems like they are very, very, dim, if lit at all. For the record, this is the case with the interior brightness set to maximum.

The thing that bugs me with the F10 M5's paddle shifters is that they are same exact ones on a 550i! At least the F12 M6 has different paddle shifters, maybe I should have spent the extra $17 grand for the paddle shifters and adjustable side bolsters. ![]()

My 2007 M6 has them, but they are almost too bright. I didn't even notice my F10 M5 didn't have the lights until i read this post... only time it bothered me when i was shifting on a tight curve... i assumed my wheel was just 180 degrees to the right... so i did pick the downshift lever correctly....
Also noticed they took away the lights on the bottom of the door seal(?) (where it says M5)
