Black OEM 20" wheels

I have seen many pictures of black 20" wheels in various official BMW events, not to mention the MotoGP safety car. I know this is not in the 2013 ordering guide or on the configurator but is this a undisclosed option available straight from the factory? Thanks.

If the black M3 wheels are any indication, they'll be reserved for special edition models like the Frozen specials that were recently announced. You might be able to get them through Individual and/or aftermarket, or BMW might try to block both of those avenues. For example, M3 GTS parts are notoriously hard to get either during orders or aftermarket, even through dealers.

There's always powdercoating as a last resort.

Of course, the wheels were the exception with the M3 GTS, as BMW made these (the black Style 359Ms) readily available for ordering from any dealer. I believe there are black Style 220Ms available as OEM parts as well.

So it may be a matter of time before BMW does the same thing with the 20" wheels on the F10M.

Too bad you are in LA.

We have a fantastic powdercoater we use for our parts. He is in PA though.
