Post Frozen Silver M5 F10 Fitted with M Performance and Blacked Out Parts

Frozen Silver M5 F10 Fitted with M Performance and Blacked Out Parts

COMMENTS

Have a look at a Frozen Silver F10 M5 fitted with BMW M Performance Parts, in black and carbon fiber. The parts provide a nice contrast against the beautiful matte silver exterior and gives the M5 an even sportier character by de-chroming.

The carbon fiber trunk spoiler (which the owner replaced the factory spoiler lip with), the sideskirts, and kidney grilles are M Performance Parts. This M5 has also been fitted with gloss black gill trim and the exhaust tips have been blacked out.

Download the full BMW M Performance Parts Catalog.

Interesting he actually got rid of M specific parts for M Performance parts like the sideskirts.

These parts would look even more excellent on darker colored M5 like Singapore, imperial blue or black.

Not feeling the sideskirts...

To each his own I guess.

I'd only make minor cosmetic changes like the front and/or side grill. The rear spoiler, mehhh

Its not a new side skirt, just a sticker.

The kit has 2 stickers, one for each side with the black lower area and "M Performance" printed on it

The catalog says its for the f10 M Sport sideskirts. So this owner swapped with M Sport sideskirts and then applied sticker? The M5 sideskirts is shaped different than the M Sport one so doesn't seem like you can just apply sticker to the M5 sideskirt?

Where do you see a difference between the M5 and M Sport sideskirts ?

Look at the fender in front of the rear tire, it rolls down lower. Unless the black area makes it look that way??

Like the blackened out chrome on the grills, side scoops, and emblem.

Not feeling the rear spoiler though mostly because of the shape of the trunk, looking at it from atop looks fine, but straight from the back it feels too high and that it belongs on the lower of the 2 creases (which I am sure won't look very good either). One of those cases where the tiny factory lip spoiler is perhaps best left unaltered.

How much is the black grill for M5? Is it a BMW OEM parts? I will definitely get it for my AW F10. It looks way better than the stock grill

If I am not mistaken then the side grills have been painted black.

Indeed they are, just checked it. So people be warned that you cannot fit regular 5 series grilles on an M5 F10. They are different. I had mine wrapped in high gloss.
