Imola Lives! (Full Black Leather, Piano Trim, 6sp).

I wanted to share the pictures which include to-date the IND painted side grills, painted front grills, painted reflectors, and Eisenmann 102mm Race Exhaust with cross pipe.

I am going to get the car tinted locally and I have wheels coming next week. One I have the wheels I am sending to Chicago to have Andrew and Nate from IND do some body work and enhancements. I will post pics as I progress. Enjoy..I really am.

Thanks all. Quick answers to your various questions:

1. The exhaust is the Eisenmann 102 with cross pipe. Sounds and looks great.
2. The ordering on a non-individual color took an extra two months of production. You can request any color from your dealership that in turn goes to BMW NA to request a special order. I am told they don't always accept. In my case they did for the very unreasonable cost of $5,000.
3. IND did all the grill paint work.
4. I am sending IND the car this month to do more custom work. I will post updated pictures once it is done.

Beautiful color! I almost ordered the same color. The $5K wasn't a big deal. I just didn't want to wait.

Two things.

1). This post pisses me off for making me regret not going with a custom color... Damn it man why did you have to awaken me from my blissful ignorance? I was perfectly happy paying $1800 extra for Azurite Black.. What's another $3200 for custom color? Doh!

2). I love the red and simply must see your car in person. I live 20 minutes from IND. When will your car be there? Are you local to the Chicago area?
