I'd say get the wheels tinted or resprayed to a dark graphite gray, I think that would set off the car real well. The wheels are slightly "shinny" that they take away from it. My 2 cents from a picture anyways (as in person things sometimes look different).

they'd def look a whole lot better w/ a tinted face 4 contrast. silver jus seems plain oddly enuff.

Phase 2 is now done and the car just left my house for IND. Since the initial post I have added:

(1)Tinted the windows with 3M Crystalline (50%) and (90%) on windshield.

(2)HRE 940RL 3 piece wheels. Full brushed face lip 21x9.5 & 21x11 with Michelin 265/30/21 and 305/25/21.

(3)OK petty I added an Imola red roundel to the steering wheel.

Once it gets to IND they will do some more heavy lifting. The car should be back in a couple of weeks so I will post the final pictures then. Couple of quick notables: I love the wheels but I probably would have had then tinted clear coat if I was to do it again or maybe even had stayed stock. Second, I want to thank Ben @ The Wheel Boutique who I purchased most my upgrades from and treated me really well. Third, I would like to acknowledge Ryan at BMW Cleveland. He was great to work with and when others were giving me lines he gave it me straight and delivered.

The wheels definitely stand out. I thought the car and wheels looked great in person. Tinting the wheels a bit to get a custom look would also look good. Take a look at the custom tinted wheels on Vic55's AW M5. His wheels really look good. I'm thinking a similar look on your Imola would look just as good.

Alex,
They didn't need to remove the front bumper except I had them fill the side reflectors and paint. I guess they had it off when they took the pictures.

The wheels are holding me up...HRE is tinting them and are supposed to have back soon. Once they are back I was going to ask the IND folks to take some pictures. I am really missing my beast!

Not sure what this means? If you are talking about the 102mm exhausts...I really like the size.

My car has been completely stalled by HRE. I have high praises for their product quality. But timeline management sucks. They were a month late in building my wheels and now they are about two weeks late on sending back from refinishing.

However, HRE is supposed to ship my wheels tomorrow directly to IND. I am getting my beast next Friday. IND is going to post the final pictures.
