Wheels Locks

Does anyone have a part number for the OEM M5 wheels locks? Also does anyone have better after market options for wheels locks?

Yes, I know they will steal them if they want them badly enough, but anything to slow them down will give me peace of mind.

I agree. I need a set as well... Not sure about any other than OEM, but maybe Turner has an option?

As an obvious cautionary tale, I will never have wheel locks on a car again. A tire monkey didn't seat the lock properly on my X5 and destroyed the wheel lock with an impact wrench during removal. It took three shops until I was able to get someone to remove it.

I'll take my chances with someone stealing my tires/rims and rely on my insurance to cover it from now on.

Insurance will cover it for sure, but im not interested in walking to my car with it on jack stands. Last year at the mall someone decided they would try to steal my wheels, i found one bolt removed and four others snapped off when I tried to tighten them. I must have walked out just in time and they took off. I will never again NOT have wheel locks. Anything to deter stupid kids from trying it or slowing pros down for even a minute is worth it to me.

If you properly torque your lugs it shouldnt be a problem, and if the dealer messes it up thats on them. I guess an idiot at a shop can always mess it up, but I go to a wheel/tire shop Ive used for quite a long time and trust.
