Ill tell you this- we weighed the stock 20's vs the P44SC's (tinted brush) with the OEM PSS's and the loss in unsprung weight was awesome:

fronts weighed 46.2 lbs vs 51 lbs
Rears weighed 50.0 lbs vs 56.6 lbs

And the HRE's are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 (went this way to be optimal with the stock PSS's)
That is some good stuff. I am thinking the same wheel as you...44SCs or the S101s here.

add about 2lbs per corner with the S101's in the 20 inch setup and even more if you get 21's.

Great choice going with the Fire Orange calipers.

Is it safe to say that this will be getting a nice tune from Velos as well?

According to what I've been told from a reliable source, the HRE 21" S101's are slightly lighter in the front and exactly the same in the rear as the OEM 20" wheels.

Does someone one know for a fact that this is wrong?

No rubbing with 4 passengers at all. Tire sizes are 295/25/21 rear and 265/30/21 front.

The front is narrower than stock? What was the reasoning for that?

I saw the rear was listed at two different widths - 21x10.5 and 21x11. Curious, can you go wider than stock 295 rear tire w/o issues? Im surprised people havent on a wider rim.

I lost interest in HRE during the last several years when it appeared that they were resting on their laurels and had fallen behind the design curve compared to the newer wheel companies. But, perhaps things are changing over there, because these look fantastic. It's nice to see one of the earliest of the aftermarket wheel companies coming back.
