F10 M5 Carbon interior trim - M5POST

Most of M5post members have already found out that the BMW performance interior trim set was designed for the non-M F10 so there is no center console option available yet. We had one custom made in Germany with the same 2x2 carbon weave and turned out perfect. I will post some installed shots after the trim is in

Are you able to also order a full trim set in other custom finishes other than Carbon Fiber? E.g Leather or Alligator?

Correct. BMW does not offer a carbon center console right now so we have this custom made.

I only wish BMW would remove the M Performance logo. They are not doing themselves any favors by diluting the M brand with all these parts.

Typically carbon fiber trim is equally prone to scratching because it is coated in clearcoat just like the piano black.

Interesting. I have heard that the piano black trim is finished similarly to a piano, so I would assume that it is multiple layers of lacquer. Could be wrong though

Either way, mine does not look bad after almost 6 months.
