None taken, I was laughing as I typed.... I think you are right about most AMG owners, they are luxury guys first who like to race stop light to stop light. The cars kind of dicatate that mentality; they are luxury first and sport second IMHO.

Except for the Black Series I have- that car is all race and noise.

This AMG looks awesome. But the one that intrigues and tempts me is the S-AMG with 4matic.
Problem...in Australia it won't be available as it is being built in Left hand drive only...
So in the 2wd world, the f10 will still be quicker than the 2wd AMG....but for those of you in North America and Europe..

Am I the only one that think it doesn't look too great? The headlights and interior are nice but I just don't think it looks nearly as nice as an M5. Hate the Rims.

Is this just an LCI/refresh of the current body? From the side it looks like the same car.

I agree. I think it's the worst looking E AMG since the very first E55..

Interior is nice and I love that they are offering it as both rwd and awd, but that's about it..

I am with you. I think the car looks like a Hyundai.

The interior is also crap. Lots of cheap plastics. 7" nav screen as if it was made in the mid 2000s. No HUD. Still no DCT - or at least no mention of it so I assume they are still using that crap MCT they have.

I don't like the looks, but the performance is something.
3.6s to 100 km/h in a sports sedan! That is sick!

Here in Sweden, with bad traction 6 months/ year, it will be a killer.

Yes, I think so. That would equal 0-100 km/h in 4.0s for the M5 ( seen in European tests ).
So still, a difference of 0.4s for 0-100 km/h in favor of the AMG.
Quite a big diff IMO.

+1 on ugly side/back, but it's a rocket. Somewhat ugly rocket, but still a rocket. Front end is nice at least.
