What's the point of the weather function in the nav? - M5POST

I have it activated and drove through some nasty weather this week and I expected it to do something... alert me, etc. The route was loaded into the nav and it was about a 300 mile trip and not a single bit of info.

If you zoom out far enough it will show you the "picture" weather.

Rain icons and temps.
