RPIDave's rocket launcher exhaust

Dave, it was great finally meeting you and checking out the setup. Wish you all the best in your career.
I recorded few vids of this beastly exhaust setup and we did couple 3rd gear pulls. I was shocked to see my stock car hang with yours. That last EAS dyno still has me confused.

Sorry for the bad quality. One of the videos just has sound.

Quite a good analogy due to the cross bank exhaust manifold. This replicates the exhaust pulsation of a flat plane crank V8 and is the reason why the F10 M5, and a Ferrari V8 to a higher degree, doesn't sound like a normal V8.

The Ferrari due to it's flat plane crank design that naturally creates a different sound, the F10 M5 due to it's cross bank exhaust manifold that replicates the exhaust pulsation per cylinder bank of a flat plane crank V8.

I've been trying to explain that to people since day one. Some people still think that all V8's are the same. The S63tu is no V10 but damn do I love the sound from it just as much as the V10. I almost feel sorry for those who still think that the S85 V10 is the only great sounding M engine. They are missing out. .

Your car sounds awesome in that 2nd video D. Yep there is life outside a normal v-8 or V-10.

None of the videos can describe the true sound that is being released from those pipes. I was getting the chills, just listening to it behind the car. It sounds much better in person.

There is no stupid question. It's a straight through exhaust with no restrictions, so no mufflers, bo resonators and no catalytic converters

Dave is running the rpi gtm exhaust. A straight pipe system. He also Catless down pipes on his car. It's the cats meow that we all hear in his car.
