My tires are only 10 months old, and I notice the sidewalls are aren’t jet black like they were when new. I only noticed this recently when I started using a “wet” tire dressing. Is there a correlation? I know all tires will eventually get some brown color due to UV exposure, but could the tire dressing possibly be accelerating the browning effect? It just seems more than I expect for 10 month old tires.

My wife and I are playing a fair amount of pickleball. Roughly 2 times per week on average.

I started playing indoor regularly around 2 months ago and it is fun. Strategy, athleticism and surprisingly high calorie burn. Tonight we played drop-in for 3 hours with a few breaks, and I burned 1,000 calories. Nothing I do burns as many calories as pickleball. Lots of sweat!

We have basic paddles and I wear my NB 1080 running shoes.

Outdoor season is starting. Alot of people have mentioned they prefer indoor because of the controlled environment and lack of elements (wind, rain, sticks and debris on the courts).

Any pickleballers here?

I'm not sacrificing brake pads any longer. I know how to drive the car and don't aggressively fry the tires intentionally.

Increased wear on those specific corners.
Cornering & Traction: In many BMW models, the system uses "Automatic Differential Braking" (ADB) to manage wheelspin by applying the brakes rather than just cutting power.
Rear Pad Wear: Many users on Bimmerpost and 1Addicts forums report that rear brake pads can wear out faster due to this, especially during track days.
Sensor Monitoring: The DSC module monitors wear sensors on the front-left and rear-right brake pads, alerting you when 3mm of pad thickness remains.

Factors Affecting Wear Rates:

Driving Style: Spirited driving, sharp cornering, or driving with DSC off or in DTC/MDM mode can impact how often the brakes are engaged.
Vehicle Type: Some models with larger rear brake bias may experience higher rear pad wear, according to discussions on E90Post.

If you notice rapid, uneven rear brake pad wear, it is likely due to the DSC system managing traction in daily or performance driving scenarios.

I got into my car at the Trader Joe's parking lot a couple of hours ago. While I was messing with CarPlay(stupid thing lost connection again), I got very excited when I saw a new BMW Neue Klasse pulling into the space directly in front of me. The excitement lasted about 2 seconds until I recognized the Lincoln badge in front.

I drove around and the back of that Lincoln said MKS or MKZ-something. It looked very old.

maybe I need new glasses or stronger coffee... or both? :( I hate to think that BMW copied the design of some old Lincoln? Or worse, hired designers who were fired or retired from Lincoln?

Anybody looking to sell an exhaust in the Chicagoland area? Maybe trying to trade their car in where we can swap exhausts + cash?

Alternateivly, I can just purchase directly without trade.

This if for an M6 Gran Coupe, but M5 exhausts should be interchangable.
