+ 1. There was some awful driving going on; barely an apex clipped, wide, messy and the 458 looked like it was at about 7/10ths. This doesn't represent the real test. Check out Nurburgring times... 7:28 v 7:55. Both quick, but this is a better representation of the relative performance of the cars; which is as you would expect - mid engined two seater super car v brilliant four door luxury sedan. I will take one of each please

I think the point was that this is a tuned M5, so we don't know the 'ring time.

30 sec ring time improvement. Perhaps, but unlikely. Who cares anyway, both good cars but different tools for different jobs
