That is not true. Manhart got almost all this sorted and they are now trying to crack the limiter. My car has 650 RWHP, vbox runs, dyno clips, video of race against C63 AMG. I think they are further with development than ESS. And before ESS are done, I can guarantee you my car will produce even more bhp. Development is under way. And they tune in the USA when there is a group buy.
