Not doing it myself. Not tracking the car often and even if I did, an aftermarket BBK like AP or Stoptech will do a better job with heat dissipation and braking force than OEM, CCB or not. I am also still highly suspect of BMW's claim that these will last 100,000 miles. That being said it's not that expensive, really. CCB options are often north of $10,000.

Regardless, I am going to let others be the guinea pigs for this one. If the rotors hold up to a beating and they actually do last as BMW claims, it might be worth it.

Hahah indeed. That's what I tell friends of mine, it's cheaper to lighten myself than it is my M3 . But 42lbs off of unsprung, rotating mass is significant and VERY noticeable. At least it was in my M3 when I went to a BBK from OEM. With a 560hp 4300lb car though, I am not really trying to get that tenth of a second, and I am not sure why anyone would be. IMHO it's about the looks of the CCB and the longevity, the latter of which has yet to be proven.
