'Dirty' is probably the word I would use. Reason enough to by one.
Someone in an XFR tried to race me in the M5 at some traffic lights (before my 1200 service) and the exhaust noise way exceptional and in the videos the F-type sounds louder. Good on Jaguar for going this way with a stock exhaust.

I had limited seat time so I didn't get to really enjoy the functionality of the cabin but I would agree that the 991 is more aligned with the driver. If I go back for test drive 2 (which I will do if I am going to get it) then Ill delve deeper into the cabin along with a more intense drive hopefully involving true freeway runs with higher speed turns so I can truly appreciate the chassis. Ill say this, my first test drive in the 991 C4S was probably a 7 out of 10 because (my fault) I didn't push the car to its proper rpm ranges and the Jag is closer to a 8 or 8.5 and this, in no small part, was due to the sound.
I may be in the minority but Id take a marginally slower car that has better sound.
