So what does it sound like when a clutch pack is starting to wear or go bad?

I think there had been a couple of people that have needed to have a clutch pack replaced? Was there any accompanying noise prior to the replacement?

I've got an 'odd' sound that is most repeatable in efficient and the slowest shift setting. I hear it most often from 3-4 or 4-3 shifts and it sounds a little light sandpaper rubbing against wood. It is short lived (less than a second) and if it was a traditional clutch (and not a DCT) I would swear it was a sound like a worn clutch.

Any experience or constructive feedback out there?

I need to setup an appointment anyway, so just want to have an idea of what I am getting into prior to that appointment.

Thanks in advance.
