Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying. I spoke to their customer service department a couple days ago and that's what I was told.
Called them again today to inquire about costs to add an additional jammer on a used ALP set with a Beltronics radar detector that's for sale and the guy I spoke with this time recommended ALP's own radar unit. I wasn't thinking about my conversation with them earlier in the week, so I didn't ask about that today. |
You should skip the Beltronics - it cannot filter out ACC or BSM radar which makes it useless. Also they don't hold up that well. The units I had always had diminished performance after about a year.
