Not all is lost, while the Pam Turbo or Turbo S no doubt probably better on track, M5 should be able to beat them in a roll.

In fact based on the latest Auto Bild test, the new Pam Turbo needs 35.1 seconds just to get to 280km/h, even the current F10 M5 is quicker than that.

It's not a knock against the Porsche since it looks like they prioritized downforce over top speed acceleration, but since many in this forum are more interested in a rolling competition than a track competition, I think the M5 still is a good choice.
