After 8 weeks of waiting its here and its a major let down.
29K Miles 2013 MT F10 M5
Lemon or was someone's track/abuse toy. Here is why:
- Clutch sticks at 1/3 depression.
- Twice during test drive clutch did not return.
- Dry Rot on Both rear tires, good tread though.
- 2nd gear is "notchy" could be a clutch issue.
- Right front brake rotor screams like a tortured cat when braking 42MPH to 0MPH. The slower the speed the louder she screams.
- Driver door Comfort Access doesn't work.
- Sunroof auto open doesn't work.
- Sunroof cover doesn't work consistently.
- Rear passenger seat pouch elastic is broken.
- Rear vent drivers side is cracked.
- Weird electrical pump "whining" noise from 5 MPH to 30 MPH.
- Rims are "stained" with brake dust even after CarMax delivery prep detail job.
- Play in steering wheel feel in all drive modes.
- Clicking sound from suspension during steering wheel lockout at <5 mph.
- Steering wheel has ketchup and french-fries gunk in the seams.
- Looks like Freddy Kruger was the previous owner based on scratches on buttons/leather/plastic anything reachable from the driver's seat.
- Weird plastic rattling from rear light housing above 3000RPM
This car felt like a car with 200K+ miles on it.
