I removed them, super easy. I then used plastic primer and a few coats of gloss black. The gloss black I used didn't require lacquer.
The air filters are great. Just waiting for a nice new home.  |
I know some people have them wrapped on car to save removing an having to reseal the backs with 3m tape etc
Looking at videos seems to come of with trim removal tool an maybe knife to cut the sealant away first
