I would check with Palo Alto Bimmer and definitely never go to a Bay Area dealer for something like maintenance. Of course they will charge too much.
I did it myself and it was 3.5 hours on my LCI. It was the most difficult spark plug change of any car I've ever owned and I did not enjoy this job at all. Next time, if I still own this car, I'll have the shop do it.
On its sister F10 550, this is an easy fun job by contrast.
