Speaking of lots of production, here's an impressive photo, likely taken within a dirigible/blimp hangar at Lakehurst or Moffet Field, showing Navy/Marine fighters and a few dive bombers staging for further transport to the war zone during World War II. The monthly production figures were staggering and the logistics of getting them forward were formidable.
