There are two aircraft that epitomize the Old Corps to me: the F4U Corsair of WW2-Korea and the Sikorsky HUS-1 (UH-34D after 1962) of the 1950s and particularly the early years of Vietnam.

Here's a little Corsair love for you and one Sikorsky as a bonus.
